Subscriber Agreement

Terms of Service

Terms and conditions governing Cable TV, Set-Top Box, and Fiber Broadband services provided by Moumita Cable Network.

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Subscriber”) and Moumita Cable Network (“Service Provider”), registered at Chhatapur, Bankura, Bankura, West Bengal, India - 722121, for the provision of Hathway Digital Cable TV, BSNL Bharat Fiber, and Rapidnet Broadband services.

1. Service Provisioning & Installation

  • All connections are provided subject to technical feasibility at the subscriber's location in Bankura.
  • Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) such as Set-Top Boxes, Optical Fiber Cables, and ONT/Routers installed at the premises remain the property of the operator or service partner unless explicitly purchased outright by the subscriber.
  • The subscriber agrees to provide adequate electrical power and safe housing for the terminal equipment.

2. Subscription Billing & Monthly Renewals

  • Cable TV packages and Broadband subscriptions are billed on a prepaid monthly/quarterly/annual basis unless otherwise specified in writing.
  • Applicable Goods & Services Tax (GST: 19AWAPP2213N1ZE) is charged on all taxable billing as per Government of India rates.
  • Failure to renew by the due date may lead to automatic suspension of broadcast signals or fiber internet transmission until payment is cleared.

3. Fair Usage Policy (FUP) & Acceptable Internet Use

  • Subscribers agree to use broadband internet exclusively for lawful personal, home, or authorized business activities.
  • Reselling, sharing, or commercial redistribution of broadband bandwidth without written commercial licensing is strictly prohibited.
  • BSNL Bharat Fiber plans are subject to published monthly data allowances with continuous connectivity at post-FUP speeds. Rapidnet Broadband provides uncapped truly unlimited bandwidth.

4. Cable TV Broadcast & Channel Bouquets

  • Channel bouquets, ala-carte pricing, and Network Capacity Fees (NCF) comply with the regulatory framework set by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
  • Broadcasters reserve the right to modify their channel lineups, schedules, or transmission standards from time to time.

5. Equipment Safety & Relocation

  • The subscriber must not tamper with, modify, or relocate installed optical fiber cables, splitters, or set-top box smart cards without informing Moumita Cable Network.
  • In the event of house shifting within Bankura, subscribers must notify our office in advance to arrange safe de-installation and re-wiring.

6. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

Moumita Cable Network shall not be held liable for temporary service interruptions caused by force majeure events, including extreme weather storms, lightning strikes, major upstream carrier fiber cuts, municipal road construction, or regional power grid outages. Our field technicians work diligently to restore connectivity at the earliest.

7. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent civil courts in Bankura, West Bengal, India.
